Sand Separator Bottoms

Pictured are sand separator bottoms fabricated at Miller from Duplex 2205 stainless steel that will be sent to a pulp and paper facility in Texas.

These are ASME code vessels with surface cladding on the flange as well as an internal ring that is machined here at Miller.

There are screen baskets that are set in these bottoms that will filter sand from the wood pulp before it continues through the continuous system.
